Yoga is a system of holistic practices at the core of which is self-realisation through connection to the divine, and that include performing sequences of physical postures (asana), meditation, breathing (pranayama) and many others. The system originates in India but has been widely adopted (and in many cases drastically tweaked) around the globe. That's to sum it up.

Yoga is a fantastic complement to all other physical exercises which tend to target specific muscle groups and under-exercise the rest. It is also a fantastic complement for our modern (mainly sedentary an outward focused, let's be honest!) lifestyle. Yoga facilitates our ability to restore balance, in body, in mind and in the heart. The best thing about yoga is that it is a practice for everyone. In its essence, yoga is flexible and democratic. The practice can be tailored to anyone, regardless of their age, experience, body shape, or beliefs.

Yoga will help you release tension and relax. HOW DOES PRIVATE 1:1 YOGA SESSION WORK?

To begin with, I will need to find out a little bit about you, your goals, your lifestyle and what you would like to achieve through your private yoga sessions. Once we have determined your goals, we can embark on achieving them through a personally designed combination of one-to-one yoga instruction, home practice and any necessary support that you might need along the way. Private one-to-one sessions take place in your own home or office. All necessary props will be supplied although you might opt for using your own yoga mat. Please email me for details of rates and availability or if you have any questions.

You are busy. You want to practice on your own terms and in your own place: your home, your office, you name it. You want tailor made practice. You want 100% attention. You want answers to your questions. You want to deepen your practice. You want to learn the correct alignment. You want to invest in your wellbeing. There are many advantages to both one-to-one and group instruction in yoga. My favourite thing about group classes is the collective energy of people practicing together. It can be electric!
