New moon. New school year. New beginnings. Fresh notebooks. I am starting to teach a new Hatha Yoga course tonight and I really can't think of a better timing. What's not to love about September!
If you were around here a couple of months ago for the July new moon, you might recall a little yoga challenge. How did it go for you?
Since practice really does make perfect, less really is more, and I am always one for keeping things simple -- let's do it all over again!
THE YOGA CHALLENGE
♥ Pick a pose of your choosing that you have been wanting to master for some time but so far the mastery has been eluding you.
♥ Practice this pose every single day for the next 30 days. Don't skip a day, don't make excuses, take it seriously. As if your life depended on it.
♥ The goal is not the outcome but the consistency.
♥ On day 31 (according to my calculations, that will be the next new moon on October the 5th), take stock of the challenge. See what you have learned along the way and celebrate any way you choose appropriate.
